I’m excited to announce that Coastal Strip, my animated lockdown cycling map, has been acquired by the Museum of Art and Culture and will become part of the permanent Lake Macquarie cultural collection.

I’m excited for you!
I was talking to walking mate, Michael, this morning and got to your art. I described your first breath, last breath animation.
His response was quite amazing, imagining and voicing lots of thoughts
Did the two breaths ever meet? Where was your fathers, when your grandson was born? (which came first??) Imagine if the was a correlation between a breath and Covid? Did the breath get anywhere near Wuhan?
He then suggested that you should put that in the artwork, but I talked about how the artwork can trigger so many more images if left unsaid.

Yes, best to provoke the questions rather than answer (or even raise) them.
I have finally created post on the new work that you can send Michael to for a look: https://andrewstyan.com/portfolio/you-are-here-02/
