Hashtag art

Social media can reveal a lot about relationships and trends within our modern society. There are over 100 million active users of Instagram who post more than 40 million photos to the world each day. Often these users add words, known as hashtags, to their posts that describe to others what they saw as the ideas behind the photo they posted. These artworks reveal the relationships between these hashtags for posts made about specific subjects, such as christmas, or good and evil.
